Tisha Jackson, MCC, LPC

I have worked in the mental health field for over 17 years and I enjoy the work I do, helping individuals overcome conflicts or issues that are interfering with their daily functioning. I provide a safe and respectful therapeutic environment.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #5045) in the State of Colorado. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 1995, then returned to school in 2008 and received my Master's in Community Counseling.

I have extensive training and experience working with trauma and attachment and recognize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and then working together to heal and lead happy; productive lives. I do not rely only on talk therapy as that is not the most effective way to work on trauma or highly emotional situations; I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to assist individuals in overcoming their past.

I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR),trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trained in Sand Play and have extensive training in attachment.

I look forward to continuing my work assisting individuals and their families to lead happy, healthy and productive lives.
